The residence consists of two parts – Suhaara, meaning beautiful is the private residence and;

Parihaara, meaning solution is the client’s political party office, where the client addresses many issues of the people of the constituency.

The front-yard of the house with landscaped lawns, waterbodies and a wide verandah allows for social gathering and discussions when required. The residence is situated along Pamur-Kandukur main road in Andhra Pradesh with its visual weight and gravity establishing ‘presence’ but also appearing inviting and approachable at the same time.

It is designed in classical style as per client brief while also integrating with the surrounding rural context. The private garden on the east acts as a visual buffer from the immediate vicinity acting as an outdoor lounge and recreation area. The wide sit-out on the first floor overlooking the village and the fields is a place for contemplating duty and responsibilities.
